so many of us have said that our snoring has dramatically improved on Mounjaro - and not just because of weight loss (it's nearly immediate.)

Just seen that in December the FDA approved the US branded weight loss (as opposed to diabetes) version of Mounjaro for sleep apnea in people who are obese.

Oh wow! I'm not a MJ user but find it really incredible just how much this drug can change people's lives, hopefully it'll be more accessible (price wise) in the future so price isn't a barrier to people. I've seen comments about it helping with PCOS as well?

I did not read the article properly. It's been approved on the basis of weight loss improving sleep apnea and not because of any other factors ie it doesn't explain why those of who have had our heavy snoring stop had this happen within days of taking the drug...

It could be linked to inflammation? If body is less inflamed maybe physically it helps with snoring and apnea? It also helps with blood pressure and sugars so maybe it's linked.

yes I looked again and the paper mentions measuring inflammation markers (secondary cause to weight loss) so it is likely related to that. I am assuming that is why my snoring went down within a week (and I was not obese).

Me too- it was if a switch had been flicked two weeks in way before I had lost enough weight to make a difference

It was similar for me with indigestion. I always had it really badly and wondered whether I had a hiatus hernia. I had difficulty swallowing and always had heartburn especially in the evening. From the day I started the injections to now I haven't suffered from any of those problems at all.
