Travelling to USA, what to do about Mounjaro!

So we are off to Disney for 2 weeks soon. I have been on Mounjaro for 9 weeks and so far haven’t had any side effects on any dosage, I’ve just started on 7.5mg, and I have lost over 1.5 stone so far.
My wonder is, what is the best idea for my holidays?! Can I take my pen and needles with me to America or will it be difficult getting through the Airport etc. or will it be easy to do?
Its been suggested to me to stop taking it for the holiday but I’m concerned if I miss 2 weeks (well it would be like 19 days from when my dose would be due until the day we return) would then carrying on with 7.5mg cause me issues with side effects etc? And also the pen would go over the 30 days, would that really be an issue?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can just take it with you, in the same way that diabetics take their insulin pens with them. It’s fine in hand luggage, with the box with the prescription label on it ideally.

Totally fine in hand luggage. So many people are on them now that they don't bat an eyelid. I have travelled to the States twice with two pens and a handful of needles each time in an insulated little pouch from Breezy Pack (other brands available of course but I wanted one that didn't need a removable cool pack that needed to be frozen first).

I brought my prescription with me but they didn't care. I just took the insulated pouch out of my rucksack and put it in the tray next to my bag of liquids.

As above its fine. I did 6 flight in one trip and no one batted and eyelid. I didn’t even take it out my bag. Take it box with prescription label on in hand luggage - don’t pack in hold as gets too cold.

Try to time it so you don’t need to take two with you so it doesn’t need to be chilled or take an insulin cool pack
