What clothes styles are you looking forward to wearing?

I have had great success with mounjaro and I'm now a size 10 to 12 (previously a 16 to 18).
Before losing the weight I used to look at certain styles and wish I was slim enough to carry them off......well now I am but suddenly seem to have a complete mental block around what to treat myself to 😆.
I'm living in jeans and t-shirts - I'd love to hear some suggestions of things you are looking forward to wearing, or are now wearing that you didn't feel comfortable in before.

You could try a personal shopper session at John Lewis. https://www.johnlewis.com/our-services/personal-styling

I had gained a lot of weight quite quickly due to illness and was just desperate to get back into my old clothes, which I have now. I've gone from a 10 to an 18 and now back down to a 10-12. I like waistbands, cigarette pants, tucked in and slim fitting tops, and was happy to wear shorts in hot weather. I have always had a small waist and that disappeared and along with it so did any sense of style. I had no idea how to dress at an 18 so it was all stretchy leggings and baggy t shirts and hoodies. So I was delighted to be back in shorts on holiday recently and to be able to wear what I'm used to wearing and know how to style again.

The only difference from before I gained the weight really is that I was still wearing skinny jeans but have now retired them in favour of mum and straight leg jeans (which I already owned) and wide leg jeans (which I have had to buy and have taken a bit of getting used to).

I have SO MANY clothes in the wardrobe that I've not been able to wear for a few years. I'm most looking forward to getting into my Toast Japanese denim fisherman's trousers from about 8 years ago. Not everyone's taste but I bloody love them and miss them! Have some lovely shirts as well, that cost a bit at the time. Things I've bought in sales and thought, oh I'll lose those 5 kg and then perimenopause hit. I will get my money's worth eventually 😂

I always said to myself that I'd buy a Vivienne Westwood frock if I reached a size 14. Only two sizes smaller than my starting size but may as well have been talking about getting fitted for a space suit for my NASA mission in terms of how unachievable it proved. I have hopes of beating that now, but lack the means so I'd settle for tops that don't have to cover my belly.

And vintage! I know you can get plus sized vintage but there's not a lot of it and what chubby people wore in the 60's and 70's was frumpy AF. So yes, a tucked in T and being able to wear at least some groovy gear for me please.

I have now outgrown (outshrunk) all my old 'skinny' clothes. Also discovered that I can't simply buy the same style in smaller sizes - I used to wear all those draped-ruched things, cowl necks, figure hiding details - but now even in small size, they just look odd.

I want to be able to wear a tennis dress and feel confident and comfortable.
