Taking Meds/Needles in hand luggage

Hello
Does anyone know if I can take my mounjaro pen and needles in hand luggage?

We're away two weeks so I'd like to take my meds if possible or do I need to miss a week?

Are you taking a bigger suitcase as well?

If so -

  • Pen in hand luggage (it may freeze in the hold)
  • Needles in suitcase

Putting the needles in the suitcase risks not having them if your luggage goes missing, so I'd at least share them out between more than one suitcase if you're not travelling alone.

But from what I've read, these are pens that diabetics have travelled with for years so as long as you have the pen in the box with prescription label and the needles with it you should be fine.

Just chuck it all in your hand luggage. I have been through half a dozen airports in the last year with it all in my bag/carry on with no issues whatsoever. Have a fabulous holiday!
