MJ in the fridge but can’t do it!

As per the title really, I’ve bought MJ through Voy, have read up loads about it but it really seems like Russian Roulette if you get mild or severe side effects. Every time I convince myself to do it, I end up reading about someone who collapsed with pancreatitis, the lovely lady in Scotland who died, explosive D&V, etc, etc and I back out of doing the shot! I have about 2 stone to lose and haven’t had much success despite attempting all the usual methods! 45, 5ft 7, 14st 3lbs……
I don’t have any underlying health conditions but what if this triggers something dreadful? Argh I’m in such a muddle! 😵‍💫

@RainbowchickenI am actually. I have been on MJ for nearly a year it’s life changing but I don’t understand this “oh I’m so scared” nonsense. Why part with the best part of £150 if you are just going to wring your hands over it?

What a stupid thing to say...think about how many hundreds of people take Heroin...doesn't make it a good idea does it?! You have no idea if she will be fine and nobody has any idea about long term dose effects from taking this rubbish.

Weren't you the one telling someone who long term breastfed they were gross on another thread earlier? Your comments are silly and rude.

SmallSnooze · 22/05/2025 08:47

Ignore the troll above, some people are just so rude and unnecessarily unkind.

I am the same as you- it's in the fridge but I have been too afraid to go for it because I'm so scared of the SE.

Decided to do it tomorrow morning, as apparently it peaks in your system on day 3, so it'll be Sunday and then I also have Monday off work so if I feel ill it gives me an extra day.

Shall we do it together? Best of luck.

PS- I literally personally know TEN people on it in real life. All of whom are losing weight and no side effects. I have one friend who was so sickly she stopped after 6 weeks, so 1/11 isn't bad odds.

Because the thought is scary especially when you get people going on about how you will die, go blind etc. I was terrified before I started, OP. I was shaking. I recommend watching a YouTube or TikTok video of someone else injecting for the first time as that gave me reassurance.

I have been on them for about 15 weeks. I have only had one bad episode of side effect which was diarrhoea and that was last week. Ngl it was awful while it lasted but it did help me lose an additional couple of pounds plus i could have ended up with noro in any event and suffered the same. Other than that it’s been absolutely fine.

Just over 30 lbs lost. I was 13st 11 when I started and I am now 11st 8. I want to lose another 10 lbs or so.

Please be careful...think about what you've just said. If you have to be diet conscious when taking it then be diet conscious anyway?! People on this have changed their diet in line with it so the reason they're losing weight is because of that...the drug probably does nothing beneficial. It's such a scam

Do you understand what a "placebo controlled randomised trial" is?!

I’ve also noticed this poster on other threads. I can’t decide if it’s deliberate mischief or if they are thick as two short planks.

Aliceisagooddog · 22/05/2025 10:36

I echo everyone else. I'm soooo much healthier. I was obese and my whole body ached. I'm nearly at normal bmi and feel amazing!!

idrinkandiknowthings · 22/05/2025 13:46

WhineAndWine1 · 21/05/2025 20:08

I’m sorry but that is a bit pathetic. It’s a simple injection and why did you buy it and then read up on it ? Such a waste of money

FFS, there's always one 🙄

CanIGoHomeNowPlease · 22/05/2025 13:54

Started in January. Only side effect is constipation but I aim to hit 30gm of fibre a day and drink plenty of water and I manage to go💩 just fine. I had IBS before and not having those symptoms is almost a reason in itself to take the jab!

I'm just shy of 4 stone lost and have gone from a BMI of 48 to 39.

I feel soo much better for it - you can try it. If it doesn't work then at least you can say you've tried it.

WeAllHaveWings · 22/05/2025 16:41

What you are feeling is very common and natural. We are not used to injecting medication ourselves. If it was a pill you would feel less stressed about it.

There are risks with any medication, even the ones you buy off supermarket shelves.

You back again? Don't think you have made one post on this board that is factual yet!

We get it, you don't like WLI's for whatever personal reason, that is ok, freedom of choice and all that. But why not try educating yourself on them to share informed facts about the concerns you, and there are some concerns to using then that everyone should be aware of, have instead of posting rambling nonsense.

I’m pretty sure that hundreds of people take heroin and the vast majority have horrendous side effects, which somewhat proves the point I was making. But hey, I’m the stupid one.

so I will counteract this with a good story, a really pertinent one for today as today is the day I reached my goal weight Smile after 27 years of being overweight

taken it just under a year, NOT ONE side effect. NOT ONE bad day.

size 6-8. Weigh 8 stone. Energy of a 30 year old. Focus amazing. Hormones in balance.

Great to hear!! Can I ask how old you are? I'm 50 and gained 30lbs during perimenopause in a year, would love to have more energy and get back to feeling great again

Can you provide evidence of it being a scam? Maybe you should start your own thread

WhineAndWine1 · 22/05/2025 21:33

@idrinkandiknowthings no it’s not the case of “there’s always one” just take the injection or bin the pen. Simple!

Goodness what is wrong with you?

OP has posted in the WLI board looking for a bit of support. If you haven’t got anything sensible to offer perhaps this isn’t the thread for you.
