Recovering from diarrhoea- should I wait to inject

I’ve been on MJ for over three months now with no real issues. Kept to 2.5 mg the whole time but in the past three weeks I have been doing 3.75 with a view to moving up. This Friday I had the worst diarrhoea imaginable which lasted for three days and today is the first day I feel back to normal. No idea what brought it on and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a bug because I also had sulphur burps for the first time. Imodium did nothing and it was horrible. I’m due to inject tomorrow but would you wait a few more days to let stomach settle down? Has anyone had similar and what did you do? I was going to go back down to 2.5 in any event too as clearly I’m sensitive to this medication.

@Glowingup this is my dilemma too. Im due to take my second dose (2.5 mg) this evening but had horrendous diarrhoea day 3-6. Someone else posted on here that her pharmacist said to wait until she's well again to do her next dose, so I'm delaying til tomorrow and then doing a half dose.

I think I might delay a few days then. And taking half a dose sounds like a good idea. It’s horrible isn’t it? I could barely leave the house and felt so weak. When I was in the middle of the diarrhoea I swore I was never going to take it at all again but I feel differently now it’s passed 😂 But i definitely want to be careful because I know I won’t be able to deal with that on a regular basis.

Splitting the dose has worked for me. I still get some suppression so still worth taking for me.

And I live in hope that my body will eventually tolerate the whole dose and I'll get great suppression 🤞
