Looking for recommendations of the tablet version of glp-1. What website to look on please?
I’ve got a BMI of 23.5 so don’t think I need the injections but want help to lose weight

No one will prescribe any form of GLP 1 for your BMI without diabetes

GiveMeWordGames · 12/05/2025 20:07

The tablet versions are still in clinical trials but anyway also what @CoastalCalm said.

afaloren · 12/05/2025 20:11

My mum is on a trial of one but no way would you get on with that BMI.

GretaGip · 12/05/2025 20:36

23.5???

Isn't that a normal weight?

FuglyBitch · 12/05/2025 20:52

GretaGip I'm really short

Even if you were 4’6” that is WELL within the normal range. Kindly…you do not need to use any kind of weight loss drug, and would never be prescribed it for just weight loss.

MynameisJune · 12/05/2025 21:07

BMI guidelines for WLI are 27 with relevant other conditions or 30 without any additional health issues. You are so far away from that you won’t get anyone to legally prescribe it no matter how short you are.

PresidentBarklett · 12/05/2025 21:11

Your height will have been taken into account when calculating your BMI. So being short is irrelevant in this case.

I don't think this is a real post tbh.

BMI factors in height. It’s weight divided by height. Putting aside that BMI isn't very helpful
on an individual level, no matter how short you are a BMI of 23 is well inside the healthy range, same as it would be on someone 5”8. That’s the point. If you want to lose a few pounds just do some calorie counting
