Hi. Going to start Monjaro tonight. Im 15st and 5f4 so a lot to loose, also type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure.

Im Feeling nervous about side effects as I have children to look after, after reading some scary stories about server D&V.

I was thinking about the best time to take it. My plan was to take it at night after my DDs bedtime so they don't see me take it. However I was thinking is it better to take it on an empty stomach 🤔 so in the morning?.
I normally eat an early Dinner with my DDs so it will be 4ish hours later on to inject.

It really doesn’t matter. Whatever suits your schedule - it’s useful for it to be at a time when you can have a quiet 5 minutes to yourself. It doesn’t need to be on an empty stomach. It doesn’t work instantly, it takes between 8 and 72 hours for the medication to peak in your system. The only thing I’d say is don’t have a massive blow out meal/takeaway/treats soon before injecting. Mounjaro slows down your digestion so you don’t want that to happen when you’ve got a heavy rich meal in there.
