Mounjaro - which company do you use?

I’m considering starting MJ but just wondering which company you all use to order the pens? I’ve seen SheMed and MedExpress mentioned and I think ideally I’d like one that comes with some support such as an app and check ins etc.

Sorry if there’s already a thread on this. I looked but couldn’t find one. But just interested in knowing who comes recommended.

I used voy which has what you want but check the monj price website it cost is a factor

ive had good experience so far on voy myself

I've been with MedExpress for over 12 months. They dont check in though but tend to be the most consistently low priced across the doses.

Monj.co.uk is a website that lists all UK approved suppliers and you can order them by price.

I first used MedExpress lured by the £40 off voucher but it would have been cheaper elsewhere. I’ve since used IQ Doctor and PillSorted. Im
moving to another supplier next week as they’re cheaper for the dose I want.

I don’t want check ins and an app, so I’ve used Asda who were fine but got too expensive. Im currently using Zava, but will soon change to a supplier that I can stick with for maintenance.

The Monj website has a comparison table which shows which pharmacies offer additional support, so I would look there as a starting point.

The two you mention are probably the only two I wouldn't go anywhere near!😂

The ones with apps and check ins are often the most expensive. I started out with Voy nearly a year ago as I thought I’d like some support but they were not great and I really didn’t need support and I hated feeling ripped off for nearly £100 more per pen!

I keep reading about local independent pharmacies where you can obviously pop in and chat to the pharmacist etc which sounds like it could be useful. Often not as expensive as some of the subscription ones apparently either. Other than that, have read good things about Livewell who seem easy to contact.

Have a look on monj.co.uk and read some of the websites and reviews to help you. Good luck!

If you want an app and check-ins I would suggest the provider I'm with Juniper.

You have an app where you track your progress with the blue tooth scale they give you and measuring tape, follow a programme about nutrition and exercise and have a health coach assigned who checks-in with you and helps with goals and answers all your questions from side effects to meal plans. You have set times for consultations with your prescriber but can book one any time you want or contact the medical team. There is also a supportive FB group.

Lundier · 06/05/2025 08:26

Yeah I'm with Juniper and at first I didn't like all the checkins and found it a bit oppressive and diet culture-y. But when I had bad side effects, I actually was glad to have them and I'm going to stay with them now. I can ask questions and get advice any time and my coach replies within a few hours. We've gone over what I'm eating and how much I'm moving and she's actually just been super positive and helpful throughout. I'm not on the FB group.

There are referral codes on the MN forum but actually if you just google, you can get a bigger discount without a referral.

I'm with Livewell too and they've been so great, they support long term maintenance too which is really important to me. They're listed as maintenance friendly on monj. monj.co.uk/mounjaro-maintenance-pharmacies/

FizzyLemonSwizel · 09/05/2025 07:32

Thanks everyone! I did look at Juniper but their Facebook page has loads of grumpy comments from people saying they’ve not received their orders. I think I’d definitely like the additional support so I’ll take a look at all of these. Thanks!
