Trying to figure out how to word this. I promise I’m not a poo troll I just have an issue with poo and Mounjarno and nowhere to go to talk about it.

I’ve taken two doses at 2.5 and due third
tomorrow. Basically the constipation is the most lasting side effect and nothing is really working to regulate it. I’m taking the psyllium husks, I’ve taken laxido when it’s been bad. Im usually clockwork regular but have only been two days this week.

i had a pseudo diarrhoea earlier in the week (not quite watery mostly soft and urgent) then nothing until today. I’ve been left with this ache like a stitch down both sides of my torso and I don’t know what to do to relieve it. I’m such a wussy with digestive issues or nausea so it basically floors me even when mild.

I’ve tried Buscopan. I’m drinking so much im
peeing every 5 mins. I don’t think it’s needing laxido or Imodium. I’ve been eating well, decent fibre and protein but I had two while chicken nuggets yesterday.

any idea what I can do in the short term to ease the discomfort?

Glycerin suppositories are supposed to be effective and quick working

cloudjumper · 02/05/2025 18:43

Glycerin suppositories or enema

cloudjumper · 02/05/2025 18:44

Actually, have your tried anything like senna or lactulose yet? You don’t mention that, might be the best first port of call

A brisk walk can help

SwornToSilence · 02/05/2025 18:50

your pseudo diarrhoea is overflow where you are deperate to go but can't. Get laxatives in you quick and be preapred for a day at home and buscopan and hot baths to ease the pain!

I wish I had this issue, I am quite the opposite on MJ. Lose everything including electrolytes and feel exhausted afterwards

SillyOP · 02/05/2025 18:53

The two whole chicken nuggets are surely the cause.

I’ve taken more laxido (the dr prescribed it) hopefully it helps at the right time!

I have laxido from the dr. Similar but gentler than lactose. More effective than senna

Oh that sounds terrifying… 😱

@Lardybumbum they really aren’t terrifying, if you have a blockage in your lower bowel, i.e. you can’t ‘push’ it out, they are a god send. They take around 20 to 30 mins to work and a god send in an emergency 😊

DarkForces · 03/05/2025 08:44

I used senna for a week to get on top of it and now have 5 prunes every day to manage it longer term.
