ZAVA delivery - what if you’re out?!

So I’ve just been approved for my first pen from zava.
The email says it will be delivered between Thurs
1st May - Tue 6th May and someone must be at home to sign for the delivery. That’s a 6 day window! I will be out at work on a couple of those days. Has anyone been out when they’ve tried to deliver? What happened to the pen?
I was really hoping to get it before the weekend so I could take it before the bank hol as I’m not sure what the effects will be.

At the moment, they'll have just created the tracking id. When the parcel is handed over to the courier company it should update with a more specific delivery date and you can check progress directly with the courier.

My deliveries have come from Royal Mail and I received an email the night before with a delivery window. I've been in when they've delivered so don't know what they do if you're not in. Mine have come within 2 days of the review being approved.

Once you get the royal mail email, you can divert it and say collect from post office, thats what I do.. no need to be in then.. they will send another email when it's ready at the post office for u to collect..

Thanks, This might be an option.
I haven’t collected anything from the post office for years and there used to be a 48 hour window before you were able to go and collect it. Assuming it doesn’t take this long now?

@IndieRocknRoll Not to sure if its different by area or not. but I ordered from IQ, they dispatched on a wednesday, royal mail recieved early hours of next morning, then thursday daytime I got email saying will be delivered today thats when i changed it and i think by 3pm i had email saying ready for collection at my chosen post office..

I responded to the Royal Mail email to request it be diverted to my local post office branch so I could collect / sign for it there. Royal Mail then emailed to say ‘as I declined delivery they had returned it to zava’. Now Zava saying I need to pay for it despite never receiving it. Currently going through complaints process with Zava and now massive delay to starting my treatment and potentially over £100 out of pocket
