Ordered Mounjaro on Saturday, will arrive on Tuesday.

Just that, I ordered it on Saturday assuming they'd get to it Tuesday and then send it. But they actually dispatched it! I had an email from Royal Mail to say they have my package and it will arrive Tuesday. I always keep mine refrigerated and I use the 'bonus' dose. I live in the SE and it's definitely not refrigerator equivalent weather. Can I get a refund or a new one sent do you think? Why would they dispatch it knowing it's going to be in transit for four days!

I had one to arrive on Friday but I was at work and they didn't leave with neighbour. Then I arranged redelivery to neighbour and the earliest date was a Tuesday! So it must have been dispatched Thursday which was 6 days when I finally received it tuesday evening, well it was thrown over my fence. It was November so cold. I didn't even start it for 2 weeks due to finishing my old pen. All was fine and it worked as it should.
I had another that was left in my neighbours living room all day . That was fine too.
I'm sure it will be fine as they have cool gel packs inside

I would be asking for a new pen. They specify that they are to remain refrigerated until first use.

Ask for a new pen. Never assume that it will be ok.

How should wholesalers, HCPs and pharmacies store Mounjaro KwikPen?
During shipping and storing by wholesalers, health care professionals (HCPs) and pharmacies, Mounjaro must be kept between 2°C and 8°C.3
The 30-day room temperature exposure allowance refers to the used pen, and wholesalers, distribution Centers, HCPs and pharmacies cannot use any part of this allowance.2

Quote the above from Lilly website if they say it will be ok. Suppliers often try fobbing you off saying it will be ok for 30 days.

They are stored within ice packs. As long as it's still cold when it arrives then it's absolutely fine

The cold chain packaging can maintain a fridge temperature (2 - 8 C) for up to 72 hours.

Saturday-Tuesday is 72 hours

Suppliers used to say 48hrs and are taking the piss now changing to saying 72hrs in response to delivery delays/lost revenue. There is no way it keeps the pen <8 degrees as per Eli Lilly guidance for 3 days unless the weather is really cool. Unfortunately Eli Lilly is not interested in getting involved when customers complain pharmacies are not transporting <8 degrees.

Mine have always arrived next day 36hrs max, and the ice block is always already fully defrosted, some are cooler than others, I cannot see how it could still be chilled enough after 3 days. I suspect as the weather improves they will return to stating 48hrs.

I agree, Can remember last summer when pens were arriving warm even when delivered within 24/48hrs.

Had an email to say it was arriving today and it has done while I was out! Typical! Should be ok though at least as on way home.

Not sure what was going on with the Tuesday email!

Also shocked that RM are delivering on Easter!

It was delivered first thing g this morning, I was very surprised on an Easter Sunday!
