Dilemma - to inject a day late or no!?

Ozempic, week 10. Not lost anything yet am now on 1mg and about to take my 4th 1mg which is due today. Up until now I've had very little side effects but yesterday I ate way too much rich food and today I'm in agony. I can't bear the idea of injecting and making it worse. Will waiting until tomorrow be OK? 😬

It shouldn't be a problem. I only do my Wegovy jabs every 10-12 days, which my doctor is fine with.

Thank you 😊 it all feels like a bit of a minefield right now! I appreciate your reply.

I’ve done it a day late many times and never had an issues. Not saying it’s the correct way but I’ve personally been ok

It is certainly fine for Mounjaro and I imagine the same applies for Wegovy / Ozempic but your patient information leaflet will confirm.

If you’re at week 10, not lost any weight and still overeating, perhaps it’s not really working for you?

Finallydoingit24 · 11/04/2025 06:55

If I was paying hundreds for a medication that made me feel shit and I had lost nothing in 10 weeks I’d review my options. I’ve been on Mounjaro for 12 weeks and have lost 25 pounds and that’s not even a particularly rapid speed. Can you switch to Mounjaro?

Fair points!

Doesn’t sound like it’s working. I’d switch to mounjaro, which anecdotally, seems to be more effective.

(I jabbed this week, 3 weeks after the last one and no ill effects at all).

I can get Mounjaro or Contrave apparently. Anyone on contrave??
