hey! It’s been a rubbish day and with my dyscalculia, I just can’t work a simple thing out! 😂

can anyone tell me how many 3.75mg doses I can get from my 5mg pen including the bonus dose please?

3.75mg is 75% of 5mg. A normal dose is 60 clicks/0.6ml. 75% of 60 clicks is 45 clicks. You’ll be able to get 5 lots of 3.75mg doses out of the pen, 45 clicks each. That will take you over the 30 day limit if you then try to use the remaining liquid. There would be the usual remaining liquid which is usually 0.6 to 0.8ml, plus a little bit left over from doing the 45 clicks. But only 0.15ml. So you’d have enough for one more dose, and a little left over.

So, 5 doses with the pen, at 45 clicks each. Then one dose definitely left over, maybe enough for two. But they would be over the 30 day expiry.

But, don’t take my maths at face value, please check the method and the workings for yourself.

I did 5 of 3.75mg and 1 of 5mg out of my 5mg pen.
This took the pen to 35 days so it would be a personal risk assessment as to whether you felt comfortable doing that.

To add. The pen clicked for the 5 doses and then it was a syringe for the final dose.
