Delivery delayed, how long can pen last in the chilled packaging?

Hi, I got an email from royal mail yesterday (1st) to say they'd received my parcel, and it was due for delivery today, but it hasn't arrived. Tracking says its still in Birmingham and I'm in NI. If its right they'll be doing well to get it to me by tomorrow. How long can the pen be out of the fridge? First time using IQ doctor so hoping the packaging is chilled at least. Grateful for advice, thanks :)

That is why I changed to boots so I could pick it up instead of the dodgy deliveries.but they are v expensive
But I saw that most can be out of the fridge for 72 hours if packaged correctly
So hoping it arrives tomorrow I doubt the drugs are really unstable and the drug companies build in room for error,

72 hours but the packaging should keep it cold anyway. Mine was next day delivery but delayed and arrived after 48 hours. The ice was still frozen around it

Most pharmacies originally said 48hrs, but some pharmacies are now saying 72hrs, but I would expect as the summer approaches that will be pushing it.

The increase to 72hrs I expect is a reaction due to pens being delayed rather than any evidence the wool jackets work well enough to keep pens between 2-8 degrees during 3 days of transit.

All you can do is feel inside the packaging as soon as you open it to judge if it is still well chilled and don't plan pens to arrive too early so you can start using it immediately if not sure it is has stayed fully chilled.

Thanks all it arrived this afternoon but I'm just home, so over the 48hrs but under 72. Iq doctor say 48 hours but have advised me to keep and eye for bubbles or cloudiness and come back to them if so. Not due to open the pen to next week so will see how it goes.
