overwhelmed by choice of suppliers

Ok. So I've made the decision to go for it.
But I am totally overwhelmed by the amount of suppliers!
Where do people buy their Mounjaro from?
Thank you.

There’s a post I started where people referenced an online calculator and I then used a code from the refrerals board to make it cheaper. I’d consider how much support you need or if you just want the injections.

watchuswreckthemic · 01/04/2025 17:22

@TootieFrootiesthats the one! Thanks

SilenceInside · 01/04/2025 17:23

You're shortly going to be overwhelmed with names of suppliers, and people trying to push you their referral code so they can get money off their next order.

Firstly, have you seen https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-price-comparison-by-monj/ which is a price comparison site? You can look at their lists and sort by price.

Secondly, some places do subscription models, and/or offer additional support services, which are indicated on the Monj list. If you want those services, then you can see who offers them, or you can avoid if it doesn't interest you.

I have used Asda, and moved to Zava because Asda were too expensive.

Iamnewaroundhere · 01/04/2025 17:25

I have just started with Numan and I am not impressed with the support whatsoever. I am paying a subscription and don’t have more than an online pharmacy so am looking at switching!

NorthernGirlie · 01/04/2025 17:27

I'm with Voy and have clicked "cancel" twice - they've offered me £50 off twice so I've stayed. I'll be changing to whoever is cheapest next month though 🤔

Maye88 · 01/04/2025 17:43

Have a look on monj.co.uk, I went with medexpress first so if you use someone's code you can get £40 off your 1st orders which would bring it to £109.
You can get it cheaper from other places though by having a look on monj.

I've used we prescribe pharmacy and IQ doctor. Both of those were really fast 🙂

iamsoshocked · 01/04/2025 18:07

OK. I've gone with Medexpress as I get a BlueLightCard discount.
I can't seem to upload the photos though, so I'll have to wait until customer services gets back to me tomorrow...

I'm not 100% sure if medexpress do bluelight possibly. Definitely worth asking either way. If you decide to go with medexpress they also price match. If you go onto chemist 4 u and take a screen shot of what they charge for 2.5mg and send the picture to medexpress asking them to price match they will credit the different to your account plus an extra £5. Combine that with a £40 referral code you will get a bigger discount 🙂

Mindovermatter45 · 01/04/2025 18:23

Use to go online and purchase.

Now I go to a pharmacy in person to buy the injection and drive home without stopping it is only half hour away. Whilst I'm on a different drug I saved £80 buying it in person last time.
(I think I'm in an area where the injections aren't so freely given on nhs prescription) the pharmacists eyes nearly popped out at the cost when I showed them proof I was already on the particular weight loss pen. Could not believe it when I got home and the saving dawned on me.

It is so worthwhile asking if chemists locally would sell it to you. (under weight loss)

To my mind if you want support that boasts the prices, I remember when L----ds were selling Saxenda and offering the full support package the price really bumped up.

iamsoshocked · 01/04/2025 18:29

Well, Medexpress have already got back to me and added the photos to my account for me. I expected to have to wait until tomorrow now, so that's good.
I did get a BLC discount by the way! I paid £109 for the first pen.

If you don't want want a provider that gives 'extra' support but that comes with a price tag and may not be worth it for you.
They are all pretty much the same.
Just go to monj.co.uk & sort by price and pick one that appears in the top 10 or so. Most of them at the top are priced pretty similar. There isn't much in it.
Beware of ones that offer a one time only new customer discount if you don't want to have to keep chopping and changing suppliers every month. I have used Medexpress, Curate & IQ doctor in the past and they have all been fine.

Maye88 · 01/04/2025 18:34

@iamsoshocked aw amazing. Glad they do the BLD. Good luck 😊

Lucy2025 · 01/04/2025 19:46

@Kleinekatze94 every pharmacy uses ice packs, it’s not some special thing that only your pharmacy does. And you are not allowed to push your referral code on these boards.

Did you actually use the discount both times? I’m hoping they will do that for me this month.

If I moved I would seriously consider The Care Pharmacy. I am on a mounjaro page they run on Facebook and they are so helpful with their advice (especially considering it’s a group for everyone, not just their customers).

Billybingbong · 18/06/2025 22:40

I've just switched to Medicine Marketplace, and I'm really impressed so far. Ordered, approved and delivered in 3 days, and their prices are really good, especially for the higher doses. They also do regular live Q&As on TikTok, great for answering any questions you may have
