Hello! Got a call with the GP this week just to check there's no reason why I shouldn't use mounjaro- if all good, where do I buy from? Asda? Medexpress? Shemed? Pharmacy2U? Please help! TY

I’d be guided mainly by price. Have a look at https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-price-comparison-by-monj/ for a price comparison. You can always change for your second order if you see a better deal or if you don’t like the service.

Shemed may be a subscription service so I’d check out what you’re signing up to and what the cancellation terms are.

Also, you don’t need to speak to your GP. You give the online pharmacy your full medical history and they will be able to advise on suitability before prescribing.

@Lm08you are not allowed to post discount code posts here, there’s a whole section for threads on them in the Money section, called Weight Loss Promo Codes.

It’s pretty grim that people come on to push their codes the moment anyone asks about where to get it from. At least be honest that it’s about you getting £40 off your next order more than it is about helping the OP out.

I chose pharmacy2u as they had a good price and seem to have people available to speak with if needed

I looked at zava but struggled to use their system. And they were much more picky about the photos.

I check out monj (address above) before ordering to find best price. Working so far!

Hi @hairymotherplucker hope you don’t mind me jumping in on your thread for info…I’m also a newbie just been looking at buying from Mediexpress. Just wondering how the prescription process works? Are they likely to call me? (worried they call when I’m at work or my grown up kids are around - not ready to tell them yet) Or will my info on the online form be enough ie BMi etc?
also how big is the package & do I need to be home to refrigerate it? Any advice appreciated. Thanks x

hairymotherplucker · 30/03/2025 22:49

Of course I don't. The more info the better.

Hi my was from Asda ZAVA might be bit more than some but it felt easy and convenient. Had to provide full length pics, pics of weight on scale too. They never rang it was all done online which I imagine most are. I collect it rather than have it delivered to me suits me better. Not worrying about it being left somewhere either and can get it when ready for next pen as they remind you to order defeat weeks before run out.

DollyPop100 · 30/03/2025 22:51

If collect only smallish long box with small box of needles to collect. Easy enough to keep some hide if you wanted to keep it to yourself.

IHateMozzies · 30/03/2025 22:57

I’ve used Superdrug, Medexpress and IQ Doctor. All similar level of service, all good.

hairymotherplucker · 30/03/2025 23:18

Had to turn messages off as getting messages with discounts sent. I welcome advice but I'm still at the inquiring stage.

Thanks for the reply @DollyPop100 thats all very helpful - didn’t realise you could collect from ASDA, that might be a good option. Xx

@hairymotherplucker please report the people messaging you to MNHQ. It’s appalling that they are doing that!!

Steer clear of any pharmacy that promotes such behaviour!! Good luck

There were a couple of Shemed threads that were quite active at one point (I hid them as I am not interested in the commitment they ask for - think you might have to sign up for 12 months and do blood tests).

Probably worth trying to find that thread and having a read/asking questions there and find out how those that joined are getting on with them.
