To think it’s not for me?

Soooo I am only on day 4, total suppression but the side effects are kicking my butt!

self employed in a stressful industry, 3 young children means the insomnia, fatigue, nausea and sickness I just don’t think I can fairly continue and be the best for my kids right now.

gutted because the suppression is wild, food choices are easy and positive but it feel like back to the morning sickness days of pregnancy and I honestly can’t function.

anyone else have side effects early on that disappeared?

Mine were really bad and now at nearly the end of week 4 have almost disappeared. That first week was sooo hard. The second was better and the third even more so.

i found lots of water helped, eating little and often and some over the counter indigestion remedies were good. I’ve also started taking probiotics and try not to eat too late at night.

I feel your pain, I hope it gets better soon.

Yes, me. Pretty explosive diarrhoea in the first two weeks and barely any symptoms since.
Kindly, it's been four days!!! This first month is designed to get your body used to the medication.

my early side effects were mainly fatigue, constipation and not being able to eat enough so had to be careful and snack on things like nuts to stop feeling a bit dizzy at times.

They mostly calmed down after 3-4 weeks.

If you can continue I would try to go to the end of the pen and see if your body adjusts. Perhaps ask you local pharmacy if they can suggest anything for the worst side effects.

Another alternative is take a lower dose than 2.5mg by click counting and stick with that for 4 weeks, then increase. But I would try sticking with the 2.5mg for another week or two first as for most people their bodies do adjust.

I hear you......I did my first on Tuesday morning and boy was I unwell with d&v so much so I was ready to give up as I've young kids and it was all just too much. I even thought I'd leave it for the school holidays and restart but DH has been very supportive and suggested it was just me getting used to it and persuaded me to not give up and see the end goal.

I think I'm going to stay on 2.5 another month depending on the loss the first couple of weeks.
