Anyone use Prescribe Me provider?

I’ve been using an online provider called Prescribe Me since I started, as I saw it advertised in my local pharmacy and was very anxious to make sure I was getting the correct product etc.

They charge £49 for the initial consultation and then you have to do a follow-up phone consultation at £49 a pop every 4 weeks to get the next prescription. It’s literally a 3 min phone call - any side effects/do I want to go up to next dose, etc. They just send the prescription to my pharmacy who set their own price for the pen.

The pen has varied from £125 to £150 for my current 7.5mg. In other words, I paid £200 in total for my current pen (consultation & prescription).

This seems quite expensive compared to what others pay. Do all providers make you pay for a follow-up consultation to get the next prescription? I don’t mind paying a bit more for the convenience of collecting same day from my local pharmacy, as it has been really convenient so far, but worried I’m being ripped off a bit?

Check out https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-price-list-non-discounted/ for a price comparison list of pharmacies that supply Mounjaro.

The short answer is, no, other pharmacies don't make you pay £49 every 4 weeks for a 3 minute phone call. You can see that there are many providers who are cheaper than £200 even before you take off any new customer discounts or other discount codes.

Thank you so much for the link. I didn’t know where to access any of this information. Much appreciated!
