SW is 19st 11 🥲 desperately need to lose some before our holiday in August. Tenerife will be hell at this weight! I don’t exactly have a goal, just whatever I lose will be a bonus.

Any tips? No idea what to expect, obviously I’ve read up on it but you never know how it’ll go for yourself. I’m just nervous that it won’t work for me!

Does anyone have a discount code I could use for Medexpress please? That would be handy.

There are lots of other cheaper reputable suppliers with the codes on here

The advice I would give is do not compare yourself to others & trust the process.
Good luck on your journey

Don't get sucked in by the cheap MedExpress offer. Choose one that's cheap long term. I'm stuck with them now because I'm almost at the end, and they're £££.

Yeah I thought they were the cheapest as I’d seen lots of people in FB groups recommending them as the cheapest, I’m not sure where to go now, none of the prices on the website a previous poster linked are accurate when you look 😅

@AintNobodyHereButUsChickensare you applying the discount codes and adding any postage when you’re checking the prices are correct? I’ve usually found Monj to be generally accurate and up to date.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 26/03/2025 09:35

@@AintNobodyHereButUsChickens outstanding user name!! If you use the discount codes on the far right of the spreadsheet on monj, the prices will be accurate.

The dreaded ME doesn’t even feature in the top 7 today!!

You can still move if you have a healthy BMI. You just need to show proof of previous prescription. I'm moving to Oushk after my next pen in preparation for their maintenance plans.

Yes they do ask for photos. On Pharmacy2U you answer some health questions and get to the point where you can add it to the cart. My mind has now gone blank. I THINK you pay for it and then it asks you to add a photo of your ID, and also take full length photos of yourself either in underwear or tight fitting clothes so they can see your body, not to let your phone obscure your face and you have to hold a piece of paper with the current date on it (in the photo I took, the date was backwards so I had to flip it in edit mode on my phone). It says to add a front view and side view, however it only lets you attach one photo. I sent in a front view (clothed) and got approved 23 hours after I applied.

Hope that helps!

My top tip is to make sure you start a calorie controlled diet from day 1.

Personally, I didn't get much suppression or many noticeable effects on the starter dose (2.5mg) but the diet and placebo effect were enough for me to loose a good 10lbs or so the first month and that kept me motivated.

Once I went up to 5mg I started feeling the suppression and was able to let go a bit of tracking etc.. but remained conscious of what I ate and tried to make healthy decisions etc .

From 7.5mg onwards I definitely know the mounjaro is working 😉👍

My other tip is to not weigh yourself more than every 2 to 4 weeks. A lot of people on this forum get stressed when their weight stays the same for a week or goes up. But that naturally happens with hormones, PMT, constipation, fluid intake etc... If you weigh yourself less frequently you'll be amazed at seeing your weight go down at every single weigh in!

Good luck!! 👍👍💪💪💪😎☀️

I used Curely pharmacy via Monj and didn't require photos, just a video WhatsApp call

InfoSecInTheCity · 28/03/2025 17:51

Eat clean!

High protein, low carb, lots of green veg, loads and loads of water.

Best of luck!

I did ouschk last night and the first date for deoivery was 4th april but im out then so i said to bring on the 6th. Then i have two full on days work 7th and 8th so i wont want to do it until after that because of potential side affects.

Ill do it on the 8th when i have a few days off

Arthurprachette · 30/03/2025 20:49

You may be better off asking on an older thread as we've mostly only just ordered

MabelWotsits · 31/03/2025 06:13

MedExpress are good for me as I’ve got my own code for £40 off now so when people use it you can get money off your own pen

if you look on the promo code section there’s loads on there. If one person a month uses your code the £40 really helps. Good luck.

People literally only recommend them because they want others to use their referral codes. Unless you’re an influencer you will be stuck desperately trying to tout your code and will never get your promised credit unless you manage to con people into using it. They seem horrendous.

I use Simple Online Pharmacy and they price match plus I can usually find a good discount code so it’s about £120 a month which is pretty good imo.

Yeah point proven. I guess at least you didn’t attempt to post your code on here so that’s something.

Good luck 👍 I'm about a month in to my Mounjaro journey and it's going well. Not massively fast, but slow and steady.

A few bits of advice...invest in a good fibre supplement now so you can stave off the inevitable digestive issues, and if you aren't already doing it, get yourself into the habit of drinking lots of water at least 3 litres a day.

Don't get discouraged if you're not a super swift loser. The weird observation I've made is that those who have less to lose seem to respond faster initially whilst those of us with higher starting BMIs seem to fall into the slow and steady category. Weird.

Join the various monthly starter threads over in the weight loss sub forums on MN for advice and support. Best of luck!

Good luck on your journey.
I'm with medexpress but to be honest there are a few pharmacies out there where you can get it cheaper than them. If you have a look on monj.co.uk it will give you a list of pharmacies and what they charge for each dose and any 1st time offers. Might be worth saving medexpress for later down the line with the £40off code and possibly doing a price match also for bigger discount 😊 xx
