Super easy holiday meal ideas.

Going on a cheap caravan holiday first week of easter.

I want to have (ideally hot) evening meals that are the minimum of fuss (prepping, cooking, washing up) but still enable me to stay within my calorie deficit.

We don't have a dishwasher so it will all be handwashing and the ovens are notoriously shit!

Edited to add, I normally have 5/600 kcal left for evening meals as standard.

This is the sort of thing that AI like chat GPT can be good for.

We usually buy a rotisserie chicken already cooked from a supermarket, served with baguette and salad.

roast dinner using ready cooked cold meats (gammon ham etc) and then just lots of veg, potatoes if you want any and gravy

hot smoked salmon fillets with new potatoes, coleslaw and salad

fry up (doesn’t have to be fried can be grilled wtc - scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, bacon medallions etc)

All great ideas, thank you.

We used to take a big high sided frying/sauté pan with lid with us when we went to caravans. Versatile for fajitas, stir fries, jambalaya, anything chicken/sauce you usually make, filled omelettes, pancakes, and even a fry up! Buy veg pre-prepared if you don't want to be chopping.
