How to get 7.5mg from 5mg pen?

Hello Clever People!

I have 2 proper doses left in my 5mg pen plus the golden extra dose. What do i need to do to get 7.5mg out for the next 2 doses?

For context the is my 3rd 5mg pen and I've not lost any weight in the last 3 weeks. I had intentionally not gone up for various life reasons but am ready to move up! I will obviously be purchasing a 7.5mg pen but dont want to wait any more to move up.

How many clicks/ml? What do i do?!

It might be easiest in your situation to extract 0.9ml with a syringe - a normal dose is 0.6ml, so if you want 7.5mg it would be 0.6ml plus 0.3ml to give you 5mg plus 2.5mg to make the 7.5mg.

I would check my maths before doing this, and make sure you're happy with the numbers yourself.

a full twist of 60 clicks then 30 clicks for 2.5mg

Some questions I ask myself before thinking about moving up as I am planning on staying as low as possible for as long as possible.

Have I lost inches instead of weight?

Am I keeping in my calorie deficit and this just a natural temporary plateau (4 weeks or more) because of previous significant losses?

Do I need to recalculate my TDEE and/or do a couple of weeks of calorie logging again to check I am keeping to my calorie deficit or to work out where I am going off track?

If I am currently in calorie deficit, will increasing dose take me into an unhealthy calorie deficit?

Has the obsessive food noise returned most days?

What balance of Mounjaro and willpower do I want?

If you are happy with your thoughts around those areas, and you need to go up, @SilenceInside numbers look bang on to me. If you decide to take the first as clicks from the pen/two injections remember to use a new needle for each injection and inject at two fingers width from the first. The second you will need a syringe. I would do as Silence suggested and use a syringe for both weeks so I didn't have to inject twice!

Thank you @SilenceInside And @waitingforthehallmarkedman for the advice! I think this weekend i will do full dose click plus 30 clicks with a new needle each time and simply use a syringe the following week.

Thank you @WeAllHaveWings you have made me take another look at the various factors and whilst I'm still keen on moving up i will be sure to reasses on the day i jab to make sure its the right decision.
