First week done but still hungry on Mounjaro 2.5mg ?

Hi all, I have just done my first week on Mounjaro 2.5mg but have literally been waiting for my hunger to suppress the whole time? Nothing! Just done my second jab today so hoping I will start to feel the effects this week? Has anyone else experienced this?

It's totally normal. 2.5mg is the starting dose, it isn't intended to produce weight loss (on average), and it's very individual how your body responds to the medication. It might take 4 weeks, it might even take till you're on the higher doses. For some people it doesn't kick in until the highest dose.

It's a long term process, the amount in your system builds each week, so at this point it's a question of being patient.

It is not unusual for some people not to get effects until they have been on the medication for several months and/or they move to the higher doses.

It must be frustrating, but not much you can do other than follow the dosing schedule, minimum of 4 weeks on each dose strength, until it kicks in for you.

Same here! Just did 2nd jab today. Absolutely no effects last week other than feeling sick and horrible for 2 days.

It is so frustrating when you read all the posts from people losing so much.
