If you’ve lost three stone and were 5’7 and originally fourteen stone , what does your body look like to you now. Will I be flabby with jowls and a turkey neck? I’m 51 and have a chubby face but have lost eleven pounds in the first three weeks on saxenda . I’m weight training ing twice per week and walk perhaps three times per week. Thanks. It’s all new to me.

I'm 50, 5 ft 1 and have lost three and a half stone.

My face is fine, ok not perfect but better for not being fat af. Neck is showing slight signs of sagging but tbh I absolutely HATED having a big thumb neck before I lost weight. I love the fact that my 'nice' necklaces now reach my chest again, rather than being akin to bloody chokers!

Lot of it will be down to your genetics and how quickly you lose weight. I am 5,7 but started at 24 stone and now down to 19 after nearly 8 months so my loose skin is hardly notable (yet) .
I have only just started doing weight training to help with the old bingo wings but at nearly 60 that’s inevitable I think.

Aged 57, 5'1" was 14st2 now 10st8. My face looks great (I have a pointy chin again, yay) and feels teeny tiny to touch. Bit of extra crepy-ness at the front of my neck which I didn't have before, but I'm OK with that

Katkins17 · 16/03/2025 17:32

Hi. I’m 56 and have lost almost 5 stone. I’m very lucky and have quite stretchy skin which tends to ping back …especially after 3 pregnancies.

however, my stomach isn’t moving…and is stubbornly staying where it is and like a deflated bag of pizza dough.

my neck is actually fine, my face, although I have hollow cheeks now isn’t too bad, and the jowls I had due to the weight have actually lessened. My skin is definitely looser but it’s not something that’s having a profound effect on me thankfully.

PorkerNoMore · 16/03/2025 17:37

I’m 5’8 and have lost 48 pounds. Started at 188 (13 stone 6), now 140 (10 stone).

I was worried about my neck and face drooping but so far, so good. I am completely obsessed with skincare, mind. I have a really good facial every 4 weeks, use retinol on my neck daily and use a NIRA laser on my face and neck daily too.

My face was really big and round 6 months ago. I think I look much younger now and so does my husband.

PinkArt · 16/03/2025 17:41

I did similar in my early 30s - same height and approx starting weight - and looked fucking amazing! Obviously with the help of youthful collagen but no lose skin.
Then I had my gallbladder out, regained and many pounds on top. I'm now 3 stone in to what will hopefully be 8-9 stones lost and now I'm in my mid 40s I'm keeping a much closer eye out for lose skin and a flappy chin.

PorkerNoMore · 16/03/2025 17:43

I forgot to add the body bit. My big boobs have gone, I’m so pleased about this as I hated them. I’m back down to wearing 32D bras and they’ve stayed perky.

My backside has disappeared and is now flat. Probably not ideal, but I’m not a fan of a sticky-out arse. My stomach is the best. It was a giant ball of fat that went to the underside of my bust, and it’s now really flat. My hip bones are sticking out for the first time in years!

I still have back hamsters, annoyingly.

I can relate to the neck thing. I have a lovely Tiffany necklace that I had to wear with an extender, for shame!

Not any more!

I’m 5’7”. Was 15 stone. Lost nearly 3 so far. Look amazing :D

smithyz · 16/03/2025 18:08

Amazing results! How long did it take to
lose three stone and was it very difficult?

I’m not at 3 stone yet, but nearly there. 16.5 kg. Maybe 17 by now. It’s taken 14 weeks and hasn’t been difficult at all. I can hardly believe it.

My neck reappeared almost immediately. I keep admiring it. There are some lines at the front, but just what one gets with the years that bless us. The tops of my inner thighs are a bit wobbly, and the under sides of my upper arms cry out for daily exercises. My wobbly tummy is still a wobbly tummy, though smaller. But that’s very minor stuff compared to how darn much better I look and feel.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 17/03/2025 09:05

Your stats are very specific 😂 but I’m 5’2, 58 and have lost 6 stone 10lbs in 39 weeks.

My face is fine with no jowls or anything. Arms, belly and legs less so but I’ve decided I don’t care and it’s a small price to pay for losing the weight and being so much fitter and healthier! May look at some sort of surgery in a year or two if things don’t improve a little but I’m a bit of a wimp about pain 😂

Ilovegoodison · 17/03/2025 13:44

I'm 5ft 7 , aged 51 and have lost almost 4 stone since Sept 2024. Starting weight 14 st 12 , now just under 11 stone. I look so much better and am getting so many compliments. My face looks younger, I think and my high cheekbones have reappeared now that the moonface has gone.
My neck is not too bad-a little bit on the scrawny side, but weight on my face and neck is always first to go for me.
i still have a bit of a tummy, which I'm hoping will go down as I push to lose the last stone, but it's much better than it was. Bum flat as a pancake, alas, but it's a small price to pay, I think! All in all, so much happier!

YourBestFriend · 17/03/2025 13:53

Well, apparently there is such a thing as "Mounjaro face". Facial treatments are on the rise as a consequence of the boom in fat loss jabs.

BeckiP85 · 17/03/2025 14:11

I've lost 7.5 stone over 9 months, I'm 39.
My arms, belly, tops of legs, boobs, and bum are really saggy now, but my face is perfect!

MJconfessions · 17/03/2025 19:13

I’m in my 20s and had different starting weight & height to you. However I have lost almost 4 stone.

In comparison to when I was bigger; my jawline is much more defined and I have no visible double chin. When I gained the weight, I think it made me look younger than I am as I had a bit of a moon face going on. I’d say after losing the weight my tear troughs are more prominent but generally my face looks okay.

In comparison to the last time I was this weight I do feel my face used to be more defined, my jawline was stronger and my cheeks looked more higher. At the moment my body fat is still high so I’m hoping as that evens out, I’ll lose the remaining chub on my face.

MJconfessions · 17/03/2025 19:15

Also my neck is thinner. I love catching glimpses of my neck from different angles and seeing how much slimmer and defined it looks. Feel like it makes such a difference even when you wear a shirt.

MajorCarolDanvers · 17/03/2025 19:16

I’m 50. Lost 3.5 stone so far. Am
5’7 and started at 16 stone.

I look bloody brilliant. Healthier looking and feeling than I have for years. Yes the tummy and bum are a bit flabby. Hoping exercise will improve things. But I’m delighted.

TorieMJ · 17/03/2025 19:58

I lost 2st and got a little turkey neck which I’m gutted about. I’ve bought some cream with good reviews so hoping it helps.

There really isn’t. It’s weight loss. Blaming mounjaro or ozempic is inaccurate.
