Mounjaro making fatty liver worse?

I've given up booze and been on Mounjaro for 8 weeks, eating healthily at about 500 calories under TDEE. I'd had liver function tests (LFT) in December and then again a couple of days ago - the LFTs have got worse! Has anyone had this happen? I'm hoping that it's just a blip and with continued weight loss and healthy eating it will get better but apparently my GP is "concerned" and has called me in. Don't take my Mounjaro away!!!

How healthily? It's quite a severe dietary change needed, not just s reduction in calories. Also, it's only been eight weeks.

Like tracking protein, fibre and calories. No processed foods, cooking from scratch, so many vegetables and fruit. I've always eaten healthily, I just ate too much.

I seem to recall it's about 50% on certain fruit & non starchy veg, lean white meat and fish, whole grains and low carb. If you keep a food diary, then you can take it with you when you see the Dr. Also, exercise helps too. Mine's in remission now and LFT is in normal range again.

Yeap, exercising too though I'm disabled. I was really looking for any experiences of their LFTs getting worse. I've read that it's possible on mounjaro.

Apologies, just trying to give you some hope. It's taken me just under a year to get to this point.

I've never had and LFTs done until an insurance medical in November. I began Mounjaro in September.

The LFTs showed two things higher than normal. I only found out last week by checking my medical records for something else. I haven't been contacted about the results but I'm wondering if I should contact my GP about them?

I don't know if they were high before Mounjaro too as I'd never had them tested. I'm a bit concerned but more worried that my Mounjaro would be stopped.
