Ive not been snacking. I went supermarket yesterday and bought a variety of usual snacks, crisps, chocolate and cake. The usual amount for our house. Ive always felt i needed to have snacks in “for the kids”.

Turns out, the kids havent touched them. Baring in mind, these would all be gone by now if I wasnt on MJ! Its clearly me, im the little piggywig here!

will be buying less from now on. Bloody cant believe it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep, about a month after I started I had to do a sort out and get rid of the stuff that had gone off. Had I been asked beforehand I would have said DD and DH were the slackers but turns out I definitely had more than my share.

Same here! First couple of weeks on MJ I painstakingly sought out lower calorie crisps and chocolate to make sure I still had some available. They haven’t been touched and I’ve not bought anymore since - I’m saving a fortune on my weekly shop!

My line was also “its so hard dieting when youve got kids as you have to have naughty stuff in the cupboards!” Nope its my lack of willpower. Food for thought for me. When not on MJ, if i know theyre in the cupboard, im on it. If we ran out, id not be fussed. Definitely will not be buying in the future. We have a corner shop across the road so if the kids fancy a treat, ill just give them some money to buy individual treats as and when from now on

Yes my husband said to me today, you need to stop buying crisps, I looked in the cupboard and there is several big sharing bags, I literally have the shopping delivered and shove them in and don’t look properly, it didn’t even register, all the Xmas chocolate is still in there too,

id have done it all normally. Now I barely glance at it.

I still have a bar of honeycomb chocolate that I was given in November! No one else likes it, which is why it’s remained untouched, but I genuinely forgot it was there. This would never have happened before MJ. Also I actually think the chocolate gingers I got for Christmas have gone off - last tried one about a month ago and it tasted powdery. I have never, ever, let anything chocolate-based go off before in my life!
