I have put on 4st in a year due to massive appetite whilst on Mirtazapine. I'm seeing my doctor this week and want to discuss all options one being weightloss jabs. Has anyone any experience whilst on Mirtazapine and did it help? 😊

Yes I’m on mirtazapine. MJ is working great for me! The insatiable appetite has disappeared.. I have lost 5 stone so far😁

Been working for me! I only started mirtazapine in December but gained quickly. I had jab six of MJ on Friday and I am down nearly 10kg!

on 15mg of mirtazapine but looking to request a higher dose this week.

38 weeks today… I also stayed on a 5mg dose until 3 weeks ago

Mirtazapine worked for me, but I ditched it before starting weight loss. I haven't slept properly since (7 months) and started on another drug.

Since found out that it's a drug given to anorexic people. I have vowed to never ever touch that drug again. I too gained 4 stone. Lost 10kg since stopping and have now started Wegovy.

I'm on Mirtazipine - have been for years and on 45mg for the last four or so. I actually didn't realise until relatively recently that it caused weight gain in so many people! It's certainly not the only reason and I was a bit overweight before, but I have really piled the weight on in (roughly) the same period of time that I've been on it. Unfortunately I've had very bad experiences with changing meds or reducing the dose previously so I'm reluctant to try again 🙁

But anyway to your point! I've only been on Mounjaro for just over three weeks and I've lost a stone! The constant urge to graze has pretty much gone. Good luck!

I'm on 45mg mirtazapine.

I've lost nearly 7st in a year on Mounjaro.
