Is it possible to order next pen early?

As the title says really.

Ive been on MJ for a few months now and doing well.

I’m due to start my next 5mg pen on Wednesday which is fine, but I’ve just found out my father who lives in Australia has been taken very ill and I need to fly out there, will be this weekend or very early next week. As things stand it looks as though I will need to stay out there with him for at a minimum 2 months. Possibly longer depending on how his recovery goes.

obviously in the grand scheme of things, not having another pen to follow on with after this one isn’t the end of the world, but ideally I’d like to not have to stop using it if possible.

has anyone ever tried, or had any luck with ordering a new pen before they’re anywhere close to finishing their current one? I’m only looking to stay on the 5mg but not sure that makes a difference.
obviously I can contact them and explain and hope for the best, I just wondered if anyone had had any luck. If I do end up flying this weekend I’m not even sure I’ve got enough time to receive it anyway.

i’m currently with cloud pharmacy just incase anyone else has done the same.

I'm sure it would be fine to order now. I have used two different pharmacies and both email really early asking if I want to re-order. Cloud sell packs of 3 pens as a starter pack (2.5, 5 and 7.5) so they must be expecting people who buy those packs to store the second two pens for a while. That's no different in principle to what you want to do.

The only issue I can see is that some pharmacies don't like too long a gap between orders, but I suppose if you can show evidence of your pens and their prescribing date you can show that you have been continuing to take the medication and not had a break.

I think I’ll just have to give it a go and message them if needs be. If I could order more than one pen then even better as I wouldn’t have to worry then if I do end up staying longer than the 2 months out with my dad.

my whole order history is with them, and I have all my old pens (used) if they needed to see them.

I needed to order a one very early from Cloud (within 24 hours of the previous one) due to similar circumstances. I put my order through and within five minutes somebody messaged to ask me why I was ordering so soon, I explained and they approved it straightaway. All done is five minutes.

Thank you @FatGirlLosing that’s really helpful. I think I’ll just put the order through and hope for the best and if they need to contact me to check why the early order, I’ll explain. It can only go one of 2 ways!

and thank you re. my dad. As I said this is a very minor thing to be fretting about really. My main concern is getting things in place here so I can get out there asap.
