Ready to go but which supplier?

Spent the past week reading all the boards and think I've made my mind up to start. Just not sure where to get mj from. The options are overwhelming! Was unsure whether to get a supportive all round plan like voy or juniper. Or just Asda?
My bmi is 46 although I don't hold too much stock in ideal weight as I have been my ideal weight many moons ago with an ED and looked frightful!
Currently 23 stone, 14-15 stone and size 14-16 I was at my happiest so will see how I get on. Current size 22-24.
Worried about side effects so looking to start at half term. I work from home a few days a week so interested to understand whether side effects are immediate as that will determine when I take it.

Have a look on here for reputable suppliers.

The side effects (if any) are different for everyone. Nobody can tell you when, if, or how bad they will affect you unfortunately. There are loads of threads on here with the same questions. Maybe join the January/February starter’s threads. It’s good to chat with people using the medication at the same time as you.

Thank you, will take a look. I've trawled most threads but unsure of pros and cons of suppliers. Will continue to research.

Sorry I can’t comment on the suppliers that offer more support as I haven’t used any. Ive been using Mounjaro for 8 months now and have always found the information and support I needed here on the MN threads.

Ive used…
Medexpress. I left because I found their customer service shocking.
Zava. No problems whatsoever but left for a cheaper supplier.
IQ Doctor. Still using them, No problems as yet and don’t need to switch again as they price match any offers available

New rules are coming in to increase safety checks and monitoring. A history of an ED is going to cause issues.

YoshiIsCute · 04/02/2025 07:50

pros and cons wise I think it basically comes down to if you want extra support or not, and then price.

I’m with Voy and have found the additional support really useful (in Voy’s case it’s a dedicated health coach and a very robust app).

I just realised Monj has a page where they show all the providers that offer extra support so you can compare pricing https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-support-help-providers/

Yes I saw that this morning. My ED is not on my medical record, I did have some oesophageal issues that were but never disclosed my ED.

Thank you for the supplier comments, that is useful

I started with Superdrug (wanted a name I knew), then Medexpress, then IQ Doctor. All have similar service levels, no problem with any of them. Good luck x

Letstrythatagaineh · 04/02/2025 15:28

I looked on here this morning, does anyone else know if these are all legit suppliers?
I went onto the cheapest ones website,
Swift-doctor.com.
It says that a product from a different manufacturer may be supplied!
So obviously not genuine mj.

Has anyone used Oushk?

Letstrythatagaineh · 04/02/2025 15:30

Sorry that was meant to quote the post with the link to monj.co.uk

SilenceInside · 04/02/2025 15:35

@Letstrythatagaineh Swift seem to have that line on all the details of all the medications they prescribe. It's a poor website issue rather than them not being legitimate. They are GPhC registered and that's all above board and correct. There is no other manufacturer for Mounjaro, and any other "version" would be counterfeit and they would be breaking the terms of their registration to supply it. So I'm almost certain they won't be doing that.

Lots of people use Oushk, there are lots of threads about them on here.

Lampzade · 04/02/2025 15:39

My mother is on Mounjaro.
We looked at several suppliers . Tried med express wasn’t happy with their service .
Looked at other suppliers
She decided on Bolt and they have been fantastic . There haven’t been any issues

Snoopy30 · 04/02/2025 16:17

I went with Juniper, i was a bit sceptical about going with others that didn't have as much support, and have been very happy so far. My coach checks in with me if i haven't been in touch in a while and there's lots of recipe/workout resources on the app. I've barely had any symptoms aside from not being hungry and rarely thinking about food for a change so its been great for me. I have a £50 off code if you need one 😀

PoemsForTea · 04/02/2025 18:21

I have used Pharmacy2U - excellent service and turnaround - terrible website/communication.
IQ doctor - slow turnaround but when chased- expedited that day.
Oushk - order hung for a while, but actioned extremely fast once queried. Excellent communication following contact.

Probablyawake · 05/02/2025 14:48

Placed my first order with IQdoctor, just waiting for them to approve pictures. Hoping to start next week as I have some time off work, do we think it will be here by next Thursday? Was unsure of turnaround.

@Probablyawake I placed an order with them yesterday after 4pm & got an email today with tracking number, will be here tomorrow but It’s not my first order so no photos to approve.

Probablyawake · 05/02/2025 17:15

Good to know, hopefully here for my start date. Excited and nervous 😬

OP posts:
Time4changeagain · 05/02/2025 17:49

I’m sure it will be, if I’ve placed an order in the morning it’s always been here the next day. My first order with photos of previous prescription was delivered next day too.
It’s the best decision I ever made! I was excited and scared, made a big thing of getting everything set up in front of me etc… Now I just jab while making a brew 😂

Probablyawake · 05/02/2025 18:20

Had an email saying 'your order is now being processed' does that mean they accepted my photos? I can't see how they wouldn't - I look horrendous! 😳

OP posts:
Time4changeagain · 05/02/2025 21:11

Im sure it says “order assembly” on your account dashboard when they’ve been accepted

Probablyawake · 06/02/2025 05:38

It says that now, so that is positive 😃
