How often do they expect you to order a maintenance dose?

I’m now at a healthy BMI but I know to regulate my sugar and alcohol intake I will require MJ for as long as I can take it. I just lose all sense of control without WLI, I have a healthy lifestyle and exercise but I binge which I just cannot control.

How long would maintenance pharmacies expect me to wait between ordering? I’ve already been accepted by cloud for maintenance but didn’t ask this. I may only need a pen every 3 months and wondered if they’d still keep me on?

Haven’t you discussed your maintenance plans with them? Give them a call and ask to speak to a prescribing pharmacist for a discussion.

What are you planning with one pen every 3 months? I am not sure any pharmacy would be too keen on that approach!

All pharmacies would still expect you to order every month since they still follow the 4-week guidance for the kwikpen. It doesn't matter if it's for maintenance or not.

Ordering less often than that would be allowed only if you've chosen a specific plan of theirs that offers that or you've discussed it with the prescribing pharmacists and you both agree to a different schedule, like one month on, one month off or ordering as and when needed, etc. So, I'd speak to Cloud about your preferred schedule and come to an agreement.

You need to discuss with cloud how their maintenance plans look and agree which one you are on. Different pharmacies have different approaches/requirements for check ins etc.

Can I ask why you’d only need a pen every three months? That sounds a little unusual.
