Why is Monjaro not working?

I am feeling completely gutted.
Been on MJ since 25th Oct & 12 weeks later I've only lost 7 lously lbs!!!

I'm 5ft1, 50 yrs old & 3 years post menopause.

I have fibromyalgia/ ME, insomnia all treated with antidepressants & antipsychotic medications (used as a sedative for insomnia) to manage my symptoms. I work 2 part time jobs.
I'm generally a night owl!

I don't eat meals generally a bowl of fruit & fibre for breakfast,
a banana, protein yogurt & or a handful of almonds or blueberries for lunch
& scrambled egg, beans & cheese in wholemeal bread for tea.
I try to drink more water & probably not enough but at least a litre or water & probably 4 black coffees & 2 cups of tea!

I'm now on 7.5mg MJ & although my appetite does feel suppressed at times it wears off post 5 days! (I then may eat extra snacks like a packet of crisps or some mixed nuts) but nothing excessive)

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated as the jabs cost so much & the lousy half a pound loss here & there doesn't feel worth the £'s being spent!

Why isn't it working for me??
12 weeks in & I'm still the same clothes size! (I have to wear my partners XL clothing as some 16's are too small!!

Feeling very deflated in spirt but not in body!! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m tracking calories against my BMR and TDEE numbers and despite feeling that I have a fair idea of calorific content of many foods I consume I definitely need to do this. Here is my case in point: I’ve swapped processed stuff for whole, unprocessed foods, it helped me lose some weight even before starting MJ. However, the other day I proceeded to snack on some cashews. All healthy I am thinking..,Luckily I didn’t eat even half a (small) bag. I checked the calories about half way through my snacking and found that the bag contained 600 calories! So, yes it was better for me than cake or toast and jam or whatever but the calories were huge!
I would say that calculating your BMR and TDEE is vital. Tracking calories also vital. I was always saying how little I ate. It’s true, I did. Skipped breakfast, only sometimes lunch, very occasionally a few pieces of a cadburys bar of an evening. Clearly I was way over calories despite this.
MJ for me do much with food noise in so much as it hasn’t turned me off things I like but it has made me think about food less (I’m only on 2.5mg) and switched my brain into thinking about needing to eat instead of needing to stop eating iyswim. MJ can’t turn a bag of crisps into an avocado but it can help you be more in control of hunger in my opinion.
im 5’1” and turn 50 next month. Sadly, as a petite (height) woman, my calorie allowance is quite small so I actually have to stay under 1100 cals rather than the oft touted 1200 cals per day. Work out your numbers and try a month of religious tracking and you may find this helps you. Best of luck!
