1.5-2 stone away from healthy BMI thinking of swapping to Mounjaro from Wegovy

Hi all,

I have been taking Wegovy for a year and had really good results - 5 stones off so far. I am getting close to where I think my target weight will be and getting very worried about what happens when I come off Wegovy.

I have seen a few threads about Oushk pharmacy and their maintenance programmes, I have had a look at them and they are for Mounjaro. Mounjaro looks like it could be the better option for maintenance and it's quite a bit cheaper than Wegovy.

Has anyone made this change for maintenance? Is anyone using the plans offered by Oushk. I'm really interested in others experiences, my current options are stay on wegovy (probably forever) or move to Mounjaro and taper. I'm not brave enough to go it alone and doubt this will change over the next couple of months. I love my new body and want to keep it 😂

Huge congratulations on your loss! Wegovy is only licensed for two years at the moment so you won’t be able to stay on it forever.

The three front running providers for maintenance seem to be Oushk, Cloud and Pharmulous. It’s probably an idea to get in touch with one/ two/ all of them for advice and ideas on how they can support you. Good luck!

I’m in a similar position. Have lost nearly 4 stone on Wegovy. I’ve contacted Oushk, Bolt and Pharmulous and all have said I can swap to mounjaro despite my BMI now being 27. They just need proof of my last Wegovy prescription and have recommended between 1-4 week break between the two.

Cloud and Family Chemist said I could not swap or move to them as my BMI is now under 30. And Medexpress who ive been with for four months or so also won’t let me swap!

I am planning on one last Wegovy pen as then have a holiday booked so will switch to mounjaro on one of the three suppliers when back.
