Just done my first injection mounjaro what to expect

How many days/weeks did it take until you noticed a suppression in your appetite?

If you read some of the monthly starter threads or the continuing mounjaro pinned post, you will find so much information to help you as you start. Good luck.

I honestly have barely had a negative symptom.
Appetite suppression kicked in pretty quickly for me but I don’t know how much of that was in my head but the morning after my first jab I didn’t want anything to eat and instead had a small but sensible nutritious lunch. I think because it’s an investment I immediately reassessed what I was eating.
I’ve had 2 sulphur burps one morning in 3 months and a bit of constipation which made sense as I was eating way less and the drug slows down digestion.
I’ve just felt totally normal day to day although eating a lot less.
i do find suppression wearing off after about 5 days each week and this is when you will need to rely on willpower but even so I’ve been able to control myself a lot more. I’m on 7.5 now and suppression isn’t wearing off at the end of the week yet but on my 3rd dose and expect it might do this week.

Suppression could start any time from tomorrow to a month's time. Symptoms could range from absolutely nothing to projectile vomming and poo. Impossible to predict sadly so prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
