Are the jabs safe for Coeliacs?

Looking for other Coeliacs or people with gluten allergies that have tried the jabs? I'm seriously considering this after going back and forth for months. Thinking of trying of Shemed.

Are they safe for people with Coeliac? Do any of the jabs contain gluten at all? I've been put off so far by the possible side effects as they sound exactly like a gluten attack and it can take me weeks to recover from one.

I'm really struggling to diet though. I have 5 stone to lose and just can't seem to stick to diets. 😒

I'm not a coeliac but wanted to respond anyway, hopefully someone else can comment.

The ingredients in Mounjaro are the active ingredient tirzepatide, and then also sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, benzyl alcohol, glycerol, phenol, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, concentrated hydrochloric acid and water for injections. (from https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/files/pil.15481.pdf)

The ingredients in Wegovy are the active ingredient semaglutide, and then also disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol, sodium hydroxide/hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment), water for injection. (from https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/files/pil.13800.pdf)

If you do an Advanced Search on the Weight loss injections/treatments section for "coeliac" you might find posts from people who have been using WLI and have coeliac disease.

I'm coeliac and started Mountjaro yesterday. I declared my CD to the prescriber and it wasn't a problem

I'm gluten free. (Neg on coeliac test years ago but I believe false neg) I'm not going for diagnosis again as the pain loss of income etc. is not worth it!

I've been on mounjaro a while now, very little side effects. I'm now on my second pen of the full dose 15mg.
