What's your BMI? Are you very short?

InkHeart2024 · 13/01/2025 16:35

Are you obese?
these medications are only prescribed for people with a BMI of 27 or 30 depending on different factors. You can't just take one or two doses, the first month is not even a therapeutic dose. They are designed for longer term use, 6 months at least. They are not a quick fix for people wanting to drop a stone or two.

I took them for two months and lost the last stone of my baby weight. Took me from about ten stone to 8 and a half stone and it's stayed off for the past year or so.

Technically not allowed because my BMI wasn't that high but no regretsz

Did you buy them directly @Notmycircusnotmyotter or did you have to get in an unorthodox way?

SilenceInside · 13/01/2025 16:50

@Notmycircusnotmyotter it's not technically not allowed, it's legally not allowed. You fraudulently acquired prescription medication.

@amelia2525 your BMI is 26.5, not 27. So you won't qualify for a prescription.

Why would you want to take the risks of taking a prescription medication for obese people when you're not obese?

Plus, it's a long term medication, you don't take it for one or two doses, it's meant for several months of use or longer.

HansHolbein · 13/01/2025 16:53

Who prescribed this to you?

Buttons0522 · 13/01/2025 21:36

Unless you have weight related conditions I’d be surprised if you’ve been able to get a prescription if you’ve given your true stats as you don’t meet prescribing criteria? Please don’t purchase from a non regulated source including social media, hairdressers, beauticians etc. selling it. These are not real pens and can be very, very dangerous.
