Left my pen out of the fridge!

Help!

I accidentally forgot to put my pen back in the fridge after second injection yesterday.

So it's been in my warm bedroom for about 34+ hours.

Is it.ok?

Any thoughts?

2.5mg isn't really working for me anyway, so wondering if should just start my 5mg pen on my 3rd injection instead of using the 2.5mg pen I left in the warmth.

Once you've started using the pen you can leave it out at room temp or keep it in the fridge, the choice is yours. So there's no problem at all with your current pen.

Have a read of the patient information leaflet where it mentions how to store the pen.

After my 1st injection I keep mine in my bedroom chest of drawers and it's been fine.. you don't need to keep it in the fridge after your 1st use..

What the pp said - after first use it's safe to store at room temperature or you can continue keeping it in the fridge if you wish.

Just use it, don’t move up to five, th4 odds are huge you will struggle hard.

@ThisFunLife am I right that you've been taking Mounjaro for 8 days, given you did your second injection yesterday?

It's far too early to have concluded that 2.5mg isn't working for you. You need to give it a chance and for the levels of medication to rise in your system for the 4 weeks of 2.5mg dose.
