Just about to give myself the first dose of MJ.

It says turn the pen to 1 and this is a 0.6 dose. It doesn’t say anything about how to get a 2.5 dose. I’m I supposed to do it 4 times? I’ve read a few times and it isn’t making sense to me.

The dosage is 2.5mg which equates to 0.6ml or 0.6ml contains 2.5mg if you prefer.

Does that make sense?

Don't get too bogged down by the numbers. You turn to one and inject the lot, once a week.

Do you know how to prime ok?

It's very scary and intimidating at first but I promise you, it gets much easier

Turning the dial to one will always administer 0.6ml of liquid regardless of what strength pen you have. For a 2.5mg pen the 0.6ml of liquid contains 2.5mg of mounjaro.

WeAllWould · 12/01/2025 20:27

The 0.6ml equates to a 2.5mg dose. So each time you turn the pen to 1 and inject, you've injected a 2.5mg dose (0.6ml of liquid).

Yes you do this every week for 4 weeks.

Perfect. I read the actually pen and worked it. Taken it now and worried about side effects. 🤞🏻 I don’t have too many.

A lot of us take a 5th dose. There is extra liquid in the pen for priming. You have to force the twist (I use pliers) but I’ve been doing it successfully for months.

Good luck op, good job getting the first one over and done with
