Whats been the cheapest provider / most popular provider?

Also reading about maintenance cost or taking a break fee or for free?

I’ve been using med express since September and have been really happy with them.

It’s one of the cheapest and I got a code from the referral thread to make it cheaper.

They don’t offer a support coach but that’s fine with me. Some of the others do but I think they are more expensive.
They do offer a maintenance program but that’s a long way off for me and what they and other services offer could change between now and then.

i went with Zava from the beginning based on price really and they’re still very well priced, esp with the code (see code thread) but also without. Not had any issues with them but I probably will swap when I’m closer to maintenance as others are better/clearer on maintenance but more expensive.

Med express offer cheap prices for the low dose to get you hooked in, then inflate it as you go higher. They also offer no maintenance and will cut you off at 23.5. Many of us have left them.

Thanks - I also randomly saw one thread where they had cut someone off for not having a gallbladder (I have had mone removed).

I dont think I want support either - but dont want to be stung with inflated prices down the line etc.

Where did you move to? Thanks.

@Gettingslimmer who did you move to?

Saveusernames · 08/01/2025 20:54

Or is it OK to take advantage of low lead prices and then swap?

You can swap , but lots of us want to move to a supplier who we can stay with long term.

I picked cloud, but pharmulous and oushk are popular, as are iq doctor, I’m not sure if they do majntanence but they offer a discount code each month which makes them one of the cheapest.

Thanks - yes ideally I just want to stay with the one provider.

You can swap, you usually need to show proof of your previous prescription but it's not difficult. The only issue you might find is when your BMI drops below 30 some pharmacies might not want to take you on.

I started with Asda who have been fine for the 6 months I've been using Mounjaro. I've just swapped to Zava as they're cheaper and I could use a discount code. Zava also actually fulfil Asda's business for them, so the website and forms are all pretty much the same with different branding.

monj.co.uk is a good website to compare prices for different doses, they have a version for with and without voucher codes

IHateMozzies · 08/01/2025 21:12

I started with Superdrug as I wanted a name I knew and they offered 33% off.

Only offered 10% off next pen so looked for a new provider. I used a referral code to get £40 off my first order with MedExpress and it was approved quickly and delivered quickly.

Next I’ve gone to IQ Doctor. I’m not in any hurry for my pen but they stated there would be a delay in dispatch. I’m hoping to receive this week.

I’ll be going back to MedExpress for my next pen.

I’m definitely a price chaser and you can find them all on here: monj.co.uk

Time4changeagain · 08/01/2025 21:17

I started with Medexpress, I wouldn’t go back as found their processing and delivery far too slow. Then moved to Zava, Never had any problems with them but moved to IQ doctor because they were a lot cheaper.

IQ Doctor have just price matched pharmacy 2U for my order yesterday.
I sent them an email including a screenshot from

monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

asking if they would and they replied saying yes, just to send them the order number. I then got an email saying they had issued a partial refund. This was just before their new 20.5% code was added to the price list too.

PickleSarnie · 08/01/2025 22:29

The spammy referral codes are enough for me not consider med express. I've only been with oushk and they've been great. They don't do referrals (thankfully) but there's generally always a discount code. You can choose dpd or royalmail and pick your delivery day.

12purplepencils · 08/01/2025 22:55

Interesting that IQ doctor are cheaper than Zava, I’ve found zava pretty good on price and they upped their code to 25% so now the first pen is about £106. But if I don’t have codes anymore I’ll look to move and will check out IQ.

Southwest12 · 08/01/2025 23:44

I've stayed with Zava. They've sent two emails, one in November and one this week with a random 15% off code, so I've ordered two pens both times and saved almost £60 on each order. I've got two referral discounts to use up too. Plus, it seems if you order two from them they send next day before 1pm delivery which is handy.

TheWildRoseBear · 09/01/2025 01:51

Oushk is amazing as a long term pharmacy as they have good prices and probably the best support. Very patient focused and big on education not just about the medication but lifestyle too.

They have a Facebook page which you can join even if you don’t buy from them and currently have a new patient discount “WELCOME” which makes the starting dose £99
