Missed my mounjaro delivery - will it still be ok to use?

I missed my delivery today, Royal Mail have said they will reliever tomorrow. I am worried as I know it’s supposed to be refrigerated. Will it still be ok to use?

It will be fine. The packaging keeps it cold for ages and I don't imagine the sorting office is very warm.

The delivery process should not form any of that 30 days, as the pens should be delivered cold, between 2 and 8 degrees, so that they can be kept unused until their expiry date which will be several months away. The 30 days only applies once the pens have been first used. Unused pens must be kept refrigerated (2 to 8 deg).

Fortunately at this time of year there's no danger of the delivery package getting too hot. As long as it's still noticeably cold when it arrives then there's no issue.

I missed a Friday delivery, ended up arriving Tuesday as they didn't deliver on saturday or Monday?!! It was still cold Tuesday evening and all worked fine over 6 weeks ago now

This happened to me today. The courier dropped it off at the wrong location ( some random house) so it was sitting out in 20° sun for the day and then when I contacted them to say where was my package they said it was gone back to the warehouse now to be delivered tomorrow. I wonder will this be ok to use ?

@Liladybug if you start using it straight away then it will be fine as it is very unlikely to have got above 30 degrees, which is the max temp above which you can’t use it.

If it’s been well packed with ice packs and insulation then it may have stayed under the 8 degrees, and can be kept unopened until the expiry date printed on it. Check when you get it if the ice packs are still frozen and/or if the pen itself is cold to the touch.
