2.5mg pen should of ordered 5mg

I am on my 9th injection (today) and have been doing amazingly on 2.5mg so stayed on it.
Over Xmas was really good but felt the cravings and hunger a little stronger and regretted buying my 3rd pen of 2.5mg.
Took 2.5mg today and usually no hunger, but found today its not doing what it has been so i need to move up , but still have 3 weeks left on the new pen, so was woundering next week I may try doing 3.75 to ease in to 5mg and till I get new pen

Does anyone know how many clicks that will be please? Obviously will do the 2.5mg then reload extra clicks? X

Hi,
a full dose is 60 clicks so half a dose would be 30, so if you do 60 clicks that will be 2.5mg then another 30 clicks will give you 1.25mg so 3.75mg in total

You need to do another 30 clicks ( 60 clicks is 2.5). to get an extra 1.25 ( to take you to 3.75 overall)

So do pen normally. Then reload 30 clicks and do again.

You will need to fit a new needle for the second half of the dose.

Where do you normally inject? I injected into my thigh for months before trying my stomach. I couldn’t believe how much stronger the effect was from a stomach injection, to the extent that I have been able to titrate back down a dose and maintain the same suppression. If you have only done thigh jabs until now try a stomach one before attempting the higher dose.
