Im considering starting mounjaro. I have 3.5 stone to lose to get to a normal BMI and have been obese for 20 years. I lost 4.5 stone slowly over 3 years, weight training and through illness last year but have put 2 stone back on really quickly and cannot stop eating! I’m used to eating to macros with relatively high protein with a 500kcal deficit but just cannot stick to this the last few months.
Does anyone lift heavy on mounjaro e.g., over body-weight deadlifts? What helps? I’d like to stay on a low dose and continue weight lifting and building muscle too. I don’t mind losing slow as long as it stays off. Is this a pipe dream for my menopausal body? Thanks.
