Sore throat, swollen neck glands, runny nose after first injection

Just started Mounjara 2.5 and this happened. About 7 hours after first injection. I’m pretty sure it’s not a cold.

After googling this, I’ve that this can be an initial reaction, though not that common, and goes away.

I’m curious if anyone else had this?

I had the swollen neck glands for a couple of days after my first jab but no runny nose.

What makes you think you haven't just got a cold/flu /covid?

Because it was out of the blue, quite extreme and altogether at once within 6 hours of first injection of MJ. It didn’t feel anything like a cold. And it’s also reported as a reaction on the internet and I believe manufacturers’ too, even though less common. My nose was literally streaming to the extent I couldn’t lie down to get to sleep, my neck glands were up and throat was sore plus a whole bunch of massive weird sneezing. It’s pretty much completely gone this morning. I’m in my 60s and never experienced anything quite like that. Anyway much better today, a little snuffling is all. So strange!

Sounds exactly like a cold and a coincidence

I’ve got a sore neck today - day 2 . I’ve googled and I think it’s a side effect.
