Injections after an eating disorder?

Hello,

Has anyone had weight loss injections after being diagnosed with an eating disorder?

I'm fully recovered from my ED, to the point where I've gained so much weight that I'd like to lose some. I've tried to by weight loss injections, but I have been rejected because I have a history of an eating disorder.

Any advice?

I am utterly not qualified to advise on this but I think you should discuss this with your doctor as a first step.

I’m not qualified either, but I wouldn’t say you were recovered if you’ve got to the point you’re obese (which is the qualifying score for the injections). The injections don’t work for everyone and it’s especially difficult if you have diagnosed health issues. I would definitely speak to a professional.
