So basically I started almost 3 months ago on Wegovy as I need to lose 30lbs. I go to the highest dose next week. I started off at 189 lbs and in the last 3 months I have only lost 9lbs. People have lost so much more than me in this time so obviously I'm feeling stressed to think why am I not successful on it. I'm hoping the next dose will be the holy grail . Has anybody else experienced this slow weight loss and what else should I be doing. I'm in the UK and pay for it myself

I am on Mounjaro so don't know Wegovy doses, but like Mounjaro the doses doesn't matter to weight loss.

What matters are the things that cause weight loss that the injection helps you achieve, what is your TDEE and how much calorie deficit are you on, how much protein you are eating, how much water you are drinking, any exercise. The final 2st loss, if it takes you to a lower range healthy BMI might come off more slowly - so 9lbs in 12 weeks might be a normal rate of loss, the big losers like me are usually much heavier with several st to lose.

TDEE is only an indication, if you are not losing weight on your cutting calories you might need to drop lower, but if it takes you too low to be healthy you might need to up exercise instead. Your provider should be able to give you some advice too.

I'm on mounjaro too, the reply above is great advice. Calorie deficit, high protein, lots of water as body can retain a lot of water with salty foods. Might be worth moving to mounjaro if all that doesn't helps as MJ activates two receptors, not just one.

What are you eating?
