Freezing cold - is this a side effect of mounjaro?

I've been on mounjaro for 6 months now, and for the first 3-4 days after I've jabbed I am absolutely freezing! It's a good job I work from home most of the time - last time I was in the office I had 5 layers on!

Anyone else?

Yes, I am FREEZING all the time.

My friend who had weight loss surgery experienced exactly the same thing.

I am hoping to start this week and I really hope this side effect will kick in for me! I am usually so hot that summers have been unbearable and I feel I can barely venture out into the full daytime heat, definitely can’t do much walking! So if this takes the edge off it will be brilliant

I'm glad it's not just me who is cold. It seems to be worse the first few weeks of going up a dose then tails off...

As a menopausal woman this is one side effect I’m loving.

I haven't felt any colder than usual but I'm not eating the tiny amounts that some people seem to and my diet isn't hugely different than it was before I started taking it. Just smaller portions and fewer snacks.

OMGosh I'm so cold! I took my injection in the fat in the back of my arm on Monday morning. By Tuesday afternoon I was so cold it was like my chair was a block of ice. I took my temperature and it was 96.9 F. I covered up with a very warm blanket, put a winter hat on and sat here freezing. Checked my blood sugar and it was 134. I don't think I've ever been so cold. It also feels like my chest is cold... like inside of my chest. I've been on Mounjaro now for 5 weeks and this is the first injection that this has happened with. It was also the first injection going up to 5 from 2.5 and it was also the first time I used the back of my arm for an injection site. Anyone else notice differences with different injection sites?

I was ok when I first started but they're replacing the radiators in my office and I've been absolutely freezing! I'm sitting at my desk with a vest, a top, a jumper and a fleece and I'm still cold! I've only ever injected into my belly though so I don't know if using different sites makes a difference. I might give it a try next time.
