Mounjaro and periods

Hi, I've been on Mounjaro since April. I've had massive success, I've lost over five stone in that time period. But I've noticed that around my period, for at least 10 days, the effects are really dimmed. I'm hungry, can't stop thinking about food, and eat a lot more (1800-2000 calories compared to 1200). It was like this at 2.5, it was like it at 5 and now it's like it at 7.5. I took my 7.5 on Wednesday evening and it felt like nothing until my period arrived yesterday and now the suppression is hitting me full force again. Is there anything I can do about this?

It is hormones, I get it usually badly too.. or usually except this month on 5mg I've not craved junk or snacks yippee, my pmt has diminished too. I do eat more protein and small but often to avoid blood sugar spikes and if feeling hungry, I have a dextrose tablet to keep me from crashing.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I don't think even Mounjaro can stand against the might that is period hormones!

It's insane! My 7.5 felt like it was wearing off last week and now it's the night before I do my next injection and it's full force again!

Yeah I'm only on 2.5 at present, but responded quickly. It completely receded for the days before and at the start of my period, like dimming a light. Then straight back. Bizarre. I kept it together, but definitely ate more. Decided I was never going to feel bad about hormonal eating again
