Is there supposed to be this much left after four jabs?

I've done four jabs from this 2.5mg pen. My 5mg pen is in the fridge ready to start but it looks like there's still quite a bit left in this one?! Shall I just use this then start 5mg next week instead? 2.5mg is working well for me as it is.

Google bonus dose, you can do the hard twist and get another week out of that.

It’s the bonus / golden dose. You can use it if you want. I did.

It is extra medication that is used in the pen as a buffer, but usually it's enough for a full dose and can be used as a bonus dose, either using a hard twist as in the video (I carefully use pliers to help turn)

Or if that doesn't work you can use a syringe to extract a full dose which is 0.6ml. Google 8mm 1ml 32G and buy from a medical supplier (not amazon) to ensure human quality.

5th dose will also be within the 30 because you inject on days 0,7,14,21 and the 5th dose on day 28.

Anyone clever able to work out the bonus dose volume for a 5mg pen? Would it still be 0.6 as the concentration is higher?

@CaptainCabinetsTrappedInCabinets a full dose is always 0.6ml, yes. Because it's the concentration of the dose that changes, not the volume of the dose. Which you can tell, because the pens are the same size and capacity regardless of which dose strength they are.

Yes. The amount of drug in the liquid is doubled ( compared to your 2.5 mg vial) but you still only inject 0.6 ml
