If it's been 12 days since my last injection...

I was on 5mg, should I go back down to 2.5mg?

The instructions in the leaflet in the box tell you want to do if you miss a dose, I haven't read for a while so worth checking yourself.

It does but I'm not sure what it means.

It says if it's less than 4 days since missing it, take it.
If it's more than 4 days wait till tour next injection day.
But 12 days is a lot longer and it doesn't say anything about continuing with the same dose or lowering it if its been more than a week

If I were in your position I think I would just take the 5mg today and go from there. The other thing you can do is to contact your prescriber and ask them for their advice.

If you missed you injection day (7 days from last injection) and it is more than 4 days wait until your next injection day (which would be 14 days from last injection). So 12 days, or 14 sounds good.

If you have had unpleasant side effects in the past and are concerned perhaps discuss with your prescriber, but otherwise the instructions are saying it is ok.

No I've been fine mostly. A few mild ones but nothing bad.

I've taken 3.7mg
So in the middle and in 7 days I'll do 5mg

Have you every tried the GLP-1 Plotter website?

It lets you plot out injections and strengths to see the concentration in your body, and if there will be spikes.

Stick to the regular 7 day schedule as much as possible (as no one knows if taking regularly more often than 7 days could overload liver/kidneys) but it is good to visualise one offs like this.

Edited

I had a family emergency and it was the last thing on my mind in thw circumstances.

This is my last pen so not much point in starting tracking now but this is the first and only time I've ever missed one, I've never even been 24 hours late before.
