Is the 'bonus dose' definitely a full dose?

I've read that a whole pen contains 3ml and each full dose is 0.6ml so that suggests it's 5 full doses. I know the extra is there for priming but if I usually prime with one or two clicks at the most then the bonus dose must be almost a full dose? However I am skeptical and don't want to give myself a short dose on the 5th week. Have I got it right or wrong?

@TheSilkWorm You can't click it, but you can twist and count the pen marks (each is a click).

@NoTouch described it better than me.

I guess it's better to use the syringe for bonus dose then if you need to be sure of the dose. I've always hard twisted it to 1, injected and felt the same as my other 4 full doses. Once or twice, there was a tiny amount of liquid left still after using the bonus dose but i just chucked it. Most times, there's nothing left.

I've only used the syringe when I needed it as an extra to make up a dose so I had to extract the exact ml I wanted from the bonus dose. By my calculations, I did have more than 0.6ml of bonus dose after all but I didn't need all of it. So chucked the rest.

Both ways are equally okay I think. I feel I've always gotten the full (0.6ml) bonus dose from the pen but as pp have said even if it's not exact full dose from the pen, the difference is negligible.
