On Saturday I bought some delicious live cultured kimchi. Haven't had any in a while and I love kimchi, and fermented too, what a treat for all those friendly gut bacteria, they will be so pleased!
Half the jar was consumed over Saturday and Sunday. All was well.
By this morning however something was afoot, my 10mg of mounjaro having slowed my digestion meant the passage of kimchi was delayed, and my morning breath was accompanied by a loud sulpherous burp. The kimchi trumps started to follow
We are now at 2.30pm and my office smells like an explosion in an abandoned egg sandwich factory due to extreme emissions from both sources, DH has resorted to leaving cups of tea outside the permanently shut door and just texting to let me know they are there once he has retreated to a safe clearance.
I'm hopeful that this too shall pass but let it be a warning to those considering live kimchi, to treat with extreme caution. 😂
